The picturesque city of Pokhara serves as the gateway to the Annapurna Base Camp Trek.  Pokhara is the enchanting city and a lakeside paradise nestled against the backdrop of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhare (Fishtail) mountain ranges.

The trek kicks off in Nayapul, a short drive from Pokhara. The trail meanders through lush rhododendron forests, charming villages, and terraced farmlands, providing glimpses into the everyday lives of the warm-hearted traditional Gurung and Magar people, allowing trekkers to immerse themselves in the rich cultural tapestry of the region. As you ascend, the landscape transforms into a pristine alpine environment. Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu (1300 meters)

Day 2: Fly to Pokhara (25 minutes’ flight); Drive to Nayapul (2 hours) and Trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6360 ft -5 Hours trek)

Day 3: Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m/7120ft) (6 hours walk)

Day 4: Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2,630m) (6-7 hours walk)

Day 5: Trek from Dovan to Derauli (3,200 m) (5 hours walk)

Day 6: Walk to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,545ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp; Descend down to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (5-6 hours walk)

Day 7: Trek to Jhinnu Danda (6 hours walk)

Day 8: Trek to Nayapul; drive to Pokhara (5 hours walk)

Day 9: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (7-8 hours drive)

Day 10:  Drop to international airport for flight back home or to another destination
