Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter makes your holy tour faster and easier. In this tour you will fly from Kathmandu-Nepalgunj-Simikot in domestic flights and onwards take a Helicopter ride to Hilsa. After entering Tibet, drive to Mansarovar Lake and do the Kailash Parikrama or circumference of Kailash.
On arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, a representative from Eve Holidays will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. You’ll have rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, there will be a short briefing about Kailash Yatra.

Early morning we will drive to Pashupatinath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Early Morning – Domestic Flight from Nepalgunj to Simikot (1hr). Rest for few hours at Simikot.
Morning – From Simikot take Helicopter to Hilsa (20 min – 12kg weight limit) & wait for other members to arrive at Hilsa (since it is a group visa and everyone have to enter Tibet side in a group)
Afternoon – From Hilsa drive to Purang border to Taklakot and stay at Hotel. On the way we pass up to 3 Checkpoints where checking might take upto 1 hr in each post

Spending an extra day in Taklakot will help acclimatize to the high altitude, thus preparing us for the journey ahead.

After Breakfast – Drive towards Manasarovar Lake (95 km). On the way you will have to pass the first checkpoint. Then after driving for 70 kms from Taklakot we will reach Rakshas Tal. On the right of Rakshas Tal you will see Gurla Mandhata Parvat and first view of Mount Kailash and Manasarovar lake. Drive from Rakshas Tal to Manasarovar Lake (25 km).
Start Parikrama of Manasarovar Lake (90 km – 3hr by Private A/C Coach). Take holy dip & perform Puja.

After Breakfast – Drive to Darchen (35 km – 1 hr) and Yama Dwar (8 km) – the starting point for Kora. From Yama Dwar we will trek to Dirapuk for 14 km. You will visit the North face of Mt. Kailash and touching the feet of Mt. Kailash (Charan Sparsh). Travelers who do not want to do Parikrama or circumference walk of Mt. Kailash can go back to Darchen and wait for rest of the group to arrive from Parikrama.

After Breakfast – Trek from Dirapuk to Dolma La Pass (8 km). About 3 kms before reaching Dolma La Pass is steep hill and quite difficult to walk. Also descending from Dolma La Pass is the same for upto 3 km. While descending you can see Gaurikund on the right. After walking for about 2 – 3 hrs we will reach Phedi. After some rest we will start trek to Zuthulpuk (12 km trek for 6 hours). If you are not doing parikrama, you will be at Darchen waiting for the group, today as well.

After Breakfast – After short easy Trek (8 km – 3 hrs), we will reach our Private A/C Coach pick up point. Then drive to Darchen (3 kms) and pick up the members not doing parikrama. From there drive to Hilsa. We will take helicopter to Simikot based on situation, today or tomorrow

Fly to Hilsa to Simikot (20 mins) by Helicopter – Fly from Simikot to Nepalgunj (around 1 hr)/ Surkhet and fly back to Kathmandu.

Today after breakfast you are in leisure on your own. You will be escorted to airport for your flight home at your flight time.

In Kathmandu, you will stay in 4 Star Hotels with breakfast included. In Nepalgunj you will stay in 3 Star Hotels. In Tibet you will stay in lodges and guesthouses in a twin sharing or dormitory basis. Hotels in Kathmandu can be upgraded to 5 star in an additional cost.
In Kathmandu breakfast, welcome dinner and farewell dinner are provided. While on Kailash Yatra, vegetarian Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner is provided.
May and September are the best months for Kailash Yatra. Although you can visit any time from April to September, flights can be cancelled due to rain in June July
Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter is difficult during 3 days of parikrama walk, due to high altitude and has a risk of altitude sickness. You walk long distances amidst steep slopes to a maximum altitude of 5,943m/19,499ft. Previous hiking experience in high altitude will be better. So get your trips booked way ahead and start preparing for it to enjoy your pilgrim tour to its fullest.
May, June and September are the best months for Kailash Yatra. Although you can visit any time from April to September, the views will be clear and climate will be perfect in May, June and September.
Sorry cannot change the travel date once you have booked the trip. In that case, we give you the flexibility to rebook another departure date available the same year or next years. You will have to pay the difference amount, if any. But the payment will not be refunded, in case you do not travel for any reason.
