Today you take a flight from Delhi to Paro which takes about two and half hours. At Paro airport our representative will greet you and drive to your hotel. After you freshen up and have some rest, you visit different Forts and Temples. Drugyal Dzong is the Bhutan Victory Fort, Rinpung Dzong is the Fortress of Heap of Jewels and the Kichu Lakhang is the oldest Temple in Bhutan.

Today we hike for 4 – 5 hours to the most popular monastery at 3,180 meters, Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery. A spiritual master Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown on the back of a tigress to meditate in a cave where Taktsang Monastery now stands. The Tiger Nest Monastery is perched on the edge of a steep cliff. We hike down to the valley floor and leave for Thimphu.

Today you visit the Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery, the mini zoo (to see Takin, the national animal of Bhutan), the painting school and the Buddhist nunnery. After sightseeing in Thimpu you drive to Punakha for two to three hours via Dochu La Pass (3,100m), where on a clear day we get spectacular views of the Himalayas. On the way, you visit Chimi Lhakhang, a fertility temple dedicated to the Divine Madman or Lama Drukpa Kuenley.

After breakfast in the hotel you visit Punakha Dzong whiich is a second oldest and second largest Fortress in Bhutan.
