The path then slowly climbs along the left hand side of the glacier to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft), About three hours beyond Lobuche we reach GorakShep (5,220m/17,126ft), the site of the 1953 expedition’s base camp. Contouring along the valley side, the trail leads on to the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and becomes quite vague, weaving between mounds of rubble. After about 3 hours we will eventually reach base camp near the foot of the Khumbu Icefall. For those visiting base camp in the spring, it is a chance to meet teams making an ascent of the mountain. his was a great trekking experience for us. We three friends did the trek with this company in the recommendation of one of our common friend. Our guide Sunaina was very friendly and knowledgeable. She is a great guide and we thank her for taking care of us in such a great way. We enjoyed Nepalese Dal Bhat, and also had fun eating with our hands like locals do, lodges we stayed were not luxurious like back home but were very comfortable for a good night sleep after long walking day. Mountain views were amazing. We loved trekking with Eve Holidays and thanks to Maina and her team for giving us the nice memories. We would love to come back again.

I have travelled to many parts of the world due to my work and have enjoyed my holidays along with work. I hardly had chance to travel to Nepal for work. So after a long time planning I finally decided to go for trek in Nepal. While looking for treks I found this company Eve Holidays and I got very quick and positive response from them. After exchanging some emails I was convinced to book the trek with them. I am really impressed by the standard of service they provide. Everything was perfect. They are very professional in their job. My trekking guide Pasang was very much informative and caring. I would recommend Eve Holidays to everyone looking for trekking in Nepal.

We are just back from trek. I am overwhelmed by the beautiful mountain views and the life of people in the mountains. We are thankful to Eve Holidays team for this great experience. Everything was well organized. We had Helicopter in few minutes after we were at Gorakshep and the views were amazing flying past the worlds highest mountain and himalayan glaciers. Hotel in Kathmandu was one of the best in Thamel and food was delicious. Our guide Pasang was born in mountains and very knowledgeable. We had farewell dinner with Maina in a traditional restaurant with Nrpalese Cultural Dance. Born in a hilly region of Nepal Maina is a strong lady and single mother making her space in between the fierce competition of tourism businesses run by men. In overall we appreciate that we got more than we expected and we are glad that we can honestly recommend this company to anyone travelling to Nepal.
