Bhutan’s Black Necked Crane Festival Tour for 8 days starts from  sightseeing Paro followed by Thimpu and Punakha. The main highlight of this tour is participating  in the Black Necked Crane Festival on the 5th day (11th November)  of the tour. This festival is organised at the courtyard of Gangtey Gompa to generate awareness about conservation of  black necked cranes, considered to be heavenly birds in Bhutan.
